In Nanchang, there is an interesting custom on the third day of the Chinese New Year.People usually do not pay New Year visits on this day,because according to legend, it is the day when rats get married.Everyone turns off the lights and goes to bed early,so as not to disturb them,praying for fewer disasters and a safe, smooth year ahead.
