"This article has been retracted at the request of the Editor-in-Chief.
Concerns were raised regarding image duplication in Figs. 5 and 10. The authors cooperated fully with the journal's investigation. However, the original, unprocessed image files required for verification were no longer available. The authors repeated the relevant experiments and the results were consistent with the published conclusions, but these newly generated data could not be used to retrospectively validate the original figures. In light of the unresolved concerns regarding data verifiability, the Editor-in-Chief has determined that the integrity of the published data cannot be assured and has therefore retracted the article."

It is not clear how making up new figures that agreed with previous made-up figures would neutralise all the evidence of papermill involvement.
